Milton R. Farrar 91, of Metamora, Illinois formerly of Cavendish Vermont passed away Friday Oct. 28, 2011 at Snyder Village in Metamora. Milton was born Oct. 20, 1920 in Cavendish, to Eddie and Edna (Booth) Farrar. He was recently widowed after being married 64 years to Lorna Mae Goodnow, who passed away Dec. 29, 2010. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Robert and Wallace and one sister Margaret. Milton is survived by 2 children and their spouses. Pamela (Jimmie) Thomas of Eureka, IL. and David (Donna) Farrar of Essex Junction, Vermont and 3 grandchildren: Matthew (Susan) Thomas of Bensenville, Il and Wendy and Nicole Thomas of Parker, CO. he has one surviving brother Edwin Farrar of Palmetto, FL. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka. Memorials may be made to Snyder Village or Easter Seals.
