Milton J. Cler 80

Milton J. Cler age 80 of Edwards, Illinois passed away at 3:05am Wednesday April 28, 2010 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. He was born Nov. 22, 1929 in Metamora to John and Arvilla (Marchand) Cler. He married Barbara Brown Oct. 7, 1958 in Peoria. She survives. Surviving are his children John (Nancy) Cler of Bradford Il, and Roberta (Owen) Smith of Edwards Il. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and Robert and Mary (Cler) Werkle who raised him and two sisters Vivian and Merlene. Milton was a Corporal in the Army during the Korean War. At one time he owned and operated West Bluff Hardware in Peoria. He retired from Northern Petro Chemical of Mapleton.
