Mildred was born in Washington, Illinois on April 20, 1919 to Vernon I. and Ruth A. Strubhar. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Donald and Vernon, and one sister, Shirley. She is survived by one sister, Joan Heiple of Peoria, sister-in-law and dear friend from childhood, Charlene Strubhar and sister-in law, Jackie Strubhar of Washington, one niece, Susan (Marshall) Neal of Columbia, South Carolina, and four nephews, Gregory (Cheryl), Timothy (Lila,) and Andrew (Lisa) Strubhar of Washington and Peter (Susan) Strubhar of Amherst, Virginia. Also surviving are 8 grand-nephews and 8 grand-nieces, 1 great-grand-nephew and 2 great-grand-nieces. MidA
