Mildred A. Ruder

Mildred A. Ruder age 83 a resident of Snyder Village, Metamora, Illinois formerly of Germantown Hills, Illinois passed away at 6:05pm Saturday November 30, 2013 at Snyder Village. Born to Peter and Theresa (Theobald) Rohman on Sept. 25, 1930 in Worth Twp. Illinois. She married Raphael Ruder on October 28, 1950 in Metamora and he passed away on May 21, 2011. Proud mother of seven children, her only daughter Sister Beth Marie Ruder is a member of the Daughters of Charity in East St. Louis, IL., Michael Ruder and Patrick (Deborah) Ruder both of Groveland, Il., Ivan Ruder of Germantown Hills, Brian (Missy) Ruder of Green Valley, IL., and Matthew (Beth) Ruder of Pekin. Devoted grandmother of twelve and a sister Helen Geltmaker of Peoria. She was preceded in death by one son Raphael Ruder Jr., 3 brothers and one sister. Mildred attended Germantown Hills Grade School and Metamora High School. After graduation she was employed by Peoria School District #150. She was a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church and Altar Rosary Society. Mildred enjoyed sewing quilts and was quilt chairwoman at the church for 10 years. Gardening was her special love. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am Wednesday Dec. 4, 2013 at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in rural Metamora with Father Neri Greskoviak officiating. Recitation of the rosary will be at 3:30pm with visitation to follow from 4pm until 7pm Tuesday at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery in Metamora.
