Mildred Boote, 96, of Washington, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Unity Point Health Proctor.

She was born September 27, 1921 in Washington, IL, daughter of the late Elmer and Susan Reeser Keil.

She was employed by Block & Kuhl and Carson Pirie Scott for 38 years in the credit and data processing department. Mildred was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist church in Washington and also a member of the Tazewell County Farm Bureau. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and rug weaving.

Surviving are several cousins along with a host of other extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service for Mildred is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Rev. Camilla Hempstead will officiate. Visitation will be one-hour prior to her service also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
