Michelle J. Kamp

Michelle J. Kamp, 49, of Metamora, IL passed away at 9:15 am on Monday, October 15, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on June 19, 1969 in Peoria, IL to Larry W. and Judy D. (Viehmeyer) Warner.  She married Jerrit D. Kamp on June 29, 1991 in Spring Bay, IL.

Surviving are her husband Jerrit of Metamora; children J.D. Kamp and Jamie (Brock Lohman) Kamp both of Metamora; grandchildren Avalon and Abel Lohman; mother Judy of Metamora; grandmother Jacqueline Viehmeyer of Metamora; siblings Earl (Angie) Segler of East Peoria, Barbara Brandow of Metamora, and Daniel (Sandra) Segler of Spring Bay; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father Larry, step-father Walter Brandow, and paternal grandparents.

Michelle worked as an office manager for Bre-Mid America.  She was a part-time travel agent.  She enjoyed cooking and traveling.  She loved Cancun which was her favorite place to go, sitting in the sun and getting the rays.   Michelle loved her grandbabies.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Deacon Joe Lowry officiating.  Visitation will be held prior to her service from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.  Cremation rites will be accorded after services.  Burial of ashes will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens at a later time.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in Michelle's name through CEFCU.  Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
