Michel M. (Cirillo) Hohenbery

Michel M. Hohenbery, 52, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 3:08 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

She was born on September 10, 1972, in Davenport, IA, to Clifford and Gayle (Daniel) Cirillo. She married Mark A. Hohenbery on December 28, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV.

Surviving are her husband, Mark Hohenbery of Metamora; son, Mason Hohenbery of Metamora; daughter, Madison Hohenbery of Metamora; grandson, Ryder Hohenbery; mother, Gayle Cirillo of Metamora; brother, Mike Cirillo of Metamora; in-laws, Wayne and Christine Hohenbery of Washington, IL; brother-in-law, Scott Hohenbery of Metamora; nephew, Hunter Hohenbery; and niece, Lauren Cirillo. She was preceded in death by her father.

Michel worked as a planner at State Farm Insurance Company. She enjoyed playing cards, shopping with her daughter, traveling, and camping. She loved the beach, family dinners, and hanging out with family and friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given for her grandson, Ryder Hohenbery, with checks made payable to either Mason Hohenbery or Ryder Hohenbery and given at the visitation or mailed to CEFCU, 510 Jubilee Lane, Germantown Hills, IL 61548.
