Michael R. Wolf

Michael R. Wolf, 77, of Spring Bay, IL, passed away at 1:23 am on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on June 14, 1947, in Peoria, IL, to Richard D. and Jennie C. (Browning) Wolf. He married Kathy J. Knight on December 23, 1967, in Bayview Gardens, IL.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy of Spring Bay; two daughters, Kandy Knoblauch of Spring Bay and Micke Craft of Pekin, IL; four grandsons, Joshua Ubell, Michael Craft, Maxwell Craft, and Shawn Craft; one great-grandson, Joshua Ubell, Jr.; four siblings, LaVerne (Calvin) Tromble of Las Cruces, NM, Marilyn Loftus of Peoria, IL, James (Diane) Wolf of Mapleton, IL, and Sandi (Mike) Cooper of Bellvue, IL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, great-grandson Gage Ubell, one sister, and three brothers.

Michael worked as a wireman for RedCo. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, tinkering on his cars, and messing in his garage. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed watching western TV shows and movies, John Wayne and Matt Dillon being his favorites. He also loved spending time with his grandkids.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel.
