Michael C. Sheets, 40, of Germantown Hills, IL, formerly of Seattle, WA passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his residence. He was born on August 25, 1974 in Peoria, IL to Louis and Marilyn (Shellcrosslee) Sheets. Surviving are his parents of Metamora; siblings Beth (Michael) Wozinak of Brimfield, IL, Randy (Laura) Sheets of Germantown Hills, Kathy (Walt) Coltrin of Nita, MO, Judy (Brad) Willis of Naples, FL, and Karen (Ryne) Tharp of Wauconda, IL; numerous aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews; and three great-nieces and great-nephews. Michael graduated from Metamora Township High School. In Seattle, he worked in construction as a framing carpenter. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Metamora with Deacon Larry DeCap officiating.
