Michael A. Ruder

Michael A. Ruder, 62, of Groveland, IL, formerly of Germantown Hills, IL passed away at 2:25 pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Unity Point Health-Methodist in Peoria, IL. He was born on December 1, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Raphael A. and Mildred A. (Rohman) Ruder. Surviving are his siblings Sister Beth Marie Ruder, Daughter of Charity of East St. Louis, IL, Ivan Ruder of Metamora, IL, Patrick (Deborah) Ruder of Groveland, IL, Brian (Missey) Ruder of Green Valley, IL, Matthew Ruder of Pekin, IL; ten nephews; two nieces; and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mike loved being outdoors. To Mike everyday was a good day. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Father Greg Jozefiak officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 21, 2017 and also one hour prior to his service on Monday all at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Association for the Developmentally Disabled of Woodford County (ADDWC), 200 Moody Street, Eureka, IL 61530.
