Michael Dean Held, 60, of Metamora, IL passed away at 4:49 am on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 22, 1957 in Peoria, IL to Wesley D. and Anna M. (Lynn) Held. He married Denise A. Finch on September 15, 1979 in Washburn, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are his children Jarred (Kristen) Held of San Diego, CA and Jennifer (Eric Ford) Held of Roanoke, IL; four grandchildren Peyton, Wyatt, Waylon, and Krue; his mother Anna Held of Metamora; sister Janet Held of Metamora; brother Alan (Nancy) Held of Witchita, KS; one niece; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Wesley Held.

Mike worked as a machine repairman for Caterpillar for 40 years, retiring May 1 of this year. He was an avid Packers fan. He loved hunting and fishing, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with his family and friends in Wisconsin.
