Michael A. Davis

Michael A. Davis, 68, of Washington passed at 7:08PM, Sunday, September 2, 2018 in the Emergency Room of OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born January 5, 1950 in Nashville, TN the son of Grady and Kathryn Lynch Davis.  He married Brenda Gregory on May 1, 1970 in Washington, IL

Surviving are his wife of Washington, one daughter Tracy Buchino of Oceanside, CA and one son Travis Davis of Chandler, AZ.  Also surviving are his mother of Manchester, TN and one sister Debbie (Jim) Swigart of Washington, IL. His father and two brothers Kevin and Randy preceded him in death.

Mike worked for Caterpillar Tractor CO. in East Peoria retiring in 1992.  He then worked for Simula Inc.  in Phoeniz, AZ for 13 years again retiring in 2006.  He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God in East Peoria.

Services for Mike are scheduled for 11:00AM, Friday, September 7, 2018 at Mason-White Funeral Home.  Pastor Fred Doughty will officiate.  Visitation will be one-hour prior to his service also at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.  In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be given to Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 2201 E. Washington St.  East Peoria, IL 61611 or to Message of Life Ministries at www.bcrandall.org.
