Merna Mae Tracy

Merna Mae Tracy age 75 of Metamora, Illinois passed away quietly at her residence with her family by her side on Saturday Nov. 28, 2015. She was born Feb. 22, 1940 in Joliet, Illinois to Dale and Josephine (Ostinelli) Mossberger. She married Hudson R. "Duke" Tracy in 1958 in Joliet and he passed away Feb. 10, 2004. Surving are two daughters, Janean (Mike) Corriveau of Belleville, IL, and Dawn Easton of Metamora. Two granddaughters, Thea Corriveau, Nikki Easton and Special friend Thomas Grebner of Metamora. Her parents and her son Ronald Tracy preceded her in death. Merna (mom) loved keeping busy. She worked at rehabbing her house over the last several years exposing the original flooring, painting and decorating until she got it just right inside and outside. Merna was a caring mother and grandmother and took good care of her family. A Memorial service will be at 7pm Wednesday Dec. 2, 2015 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. Visitation will be from 5pm until service time at the funeral home. Burial of Ashes will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Metamora. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to donors choice.
