Melvin C. Heiser

Melvin was born on April 21, 1935 in Goodfield to Benjamin and Marie Janssen Heiser. He married Peggy Williams on August 1, 1959 in Deer Creek. Peggy survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Katherine Marie (Chris) Nettles and Gail (Greg) Nettles, both of Washington; one son, Melvin Daryl (Sarah Bonk) Heiser of Pekin; one sister, Carol (Les) Corry of Champaign; eight Grandsons; one granddaughter and eight great grandchildren. Melvin was retired from Miller Welding in Washington where he had worked from 1986 to 1995. He also had been a plasterer in the area for more than 20 years.
