Maurice Mac Mccarrick

Maurice "Mac" McCarrick age 87 of Germantown Hills, Illinois passed away at 8:43am Sunday Sept. 25, 2011 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. He was born Oct. 18, 1923 in Indianapolis, IN to Thomas and Madge (Sett) McCarrick. He married Florence Michael in 1948 in Peoria, she died in 1966, he then married Esther E. Pleines on June 15, 1968 in Germantown Hills, IL; she survives. Surviving are one daughter Christine (Mark) Smith of Peoria, one grandson Micky (Deanna) McCullough of Washington, IL, and two great grandsons Trever and Brody McCullough. Maurice was also survived by one step son Rick Graves of Germantown Hills, IL, Nephew Mike (Merry) McCarrick of Groveland, IL and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by one brother Harold "Mouse" McCarrick. Maurice was a Millwright at Celotex in Peoria for 36years. He loved fishing and spending time with his grandson and great grandsons. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Wednesday Sept. 28, 2011 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Rev. Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to TAPS.
