Mary Ann Primm, 76, of Washington, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on September 20, 1948, in El Paso, IL, to Cecil R. and Leona E. (Campbell) Scott. She married Larry W. Primm on April 5, 1980. He passed away on February 19, 2019.

Surviving are her two daughters, Sherri (Rod) Waters of Metamora, IL and Kristi (Jim) Akers of Peoria, IL; five grandchildren, Sarah (Nathan) Lee, Alyssa (Max Johnson) Waters, Ben (Maris) Fitch, Isaac Akers, and Ian Akers; two great-grandchildren, Macie Fitch and Beckham Lee, and soon to be born Monroe Fitch. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister.

Mary Ann graduated from El Paso High School, Class of 1966. She worked at several banks in accounts receivables and then worked as a medical biller for Advocate Radiology Billing and Reimbursement until her retirement in 2013.

She was a girl scout leader, enjoyed road trips, traveling on their Harley, and eagle watching. She loved going to Lake Michigan with her girls and any activity that involved her loved ones. Mary Ann was a prayer warrior, a sassy little spitfire, and a true patriot who loved hard. She always said her family was her greatest blessing and nothing brought her greater joy than being Grandma and Gigi. While she was ours, she meant so much to so many others. We will miss her every day.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel.
