Mary C. Johnson

Mary C. Johnson age 89 of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 8:28am Monday July 16, 2012 at Snyder Village in Metamora. She was born May 13, 1923 in Metamora to Andrew and Catherine (Waldschmidt) Ehringer. Surviving are her children, Diana (The late Ron) Kaufmann of Northbrook, IL, and Jerry (Jan) Johnson of Forsyth, IL. Grandchildren; Jason (Denise) Kaufmann, Kimberly (Adi) Klinghofer, Mark (Jayme) Kaufmann, Alexis (Tim O?Brien) Johnson, Courtnay (Neil) Boston, Brittnay (Jeremy) Fritz, Jay Johnson and 13 great grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister Anna Zimmerman of Metamora and numerous nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by one son Ronald, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Metamora and had worked for Midwest Oil in E. Peoria. Mary was a former Metamora Village Clerk and was best known for doing Income Taxes for many in the community. A funeral mass will be at 11:00am Tuesday July 17, 2012 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Metamora with Father Don Roszkowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery in Metamora.
