Mary Hamilton

Mary E. Hamilton, 62, of East Peoria, IL passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

She was born on October 31, 1955 in Farmington daughter of the late Ray Pensinger and Savana (Miller) Pensinger. She married Stephen Kirk from Bellevue, IL in 1977 and to that Union was born two children Joseph and Julie. She later married Bret Hamilton from East Peoria in 1987 and from that marriage were Kristen and Lane.

Surviving are four children Joseph Kirk, Julie Galletti, Kristen Hamilton and Lane Hamilton. Also surviving are eight grandchildren. Two brothers Ronald Pensinger and Jack Pensinger preceded her in death.

Mary worked SC2 in Mossville for 9 years last working in March of 2016. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and strong in her faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of her life will be held at 5:30 pm on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Bartonville Christian Church. Pastor Kevin Dell will officiate.
