Mary L. Grob

Mary L. Grob, 70, of Metamora, passed away at 4:10 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her residence. She was born on August 4, 1944 in Ottawa, Kansas to William and Mary (Cannon) Martin. She married James R. Grob on September 7, 1963 in Metamora. He survives. Also surviving are her daughter Terry (Gerry) Guerrero of Metamora; grandchildren Geremy, Tyler and Gillian Guerrero; sister Wilma Lipman of Gallatin, TN; and brother Bill (Denise) Martin of Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary was a banker in Peoria for over 35 years. She was an enthusiastic Riverman hockey fan and loved to spoil her grandkids. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel, Metamora with Reverend Robert DeBolt officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded after services.
