WASHINGTON - Mary "Jean" Bradle, 95, formerly of Washington, IL passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville, Indiana. Jean was born October 23, 1920 in Washington to John and Volsey (Williams) Norris. She married Raymond Edward Bradle on October 23, 1943 in Quantico, Virginia, and they celebrated over 65 years of marriage before his passing on September 30, 2009. Surviving are two daughters Ronneal (Walter) Jenison of Morrice, Michigan and Mary Ann Coons of Indianapolis; one son Lon (Jean) Bradle of Normal, Illinois; one sister Shirley Pudik of Washington; seven grandchildren; and sixteen great- grandchildren. Jean was a great listener and interested in everything her family members were involved in throughout her life. Jean worked for Washington Federal Savings and Loan serving as Secretary/Treasurer before retiring after more than 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, was a member of the Ladies Golf League at Hillcrest, and most of all being there for events of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean was a volunteer with the Washington Historical Society. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington. Funeral services will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Youngshim E. Pitcher officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Washington Historical Society.
