Marvin E. DuBois, 71, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 4:46 am on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born on August 9, 1949, at his home place in Metamora, to Theodore and Rose (Garber) DuBois. He married Linda M. Doll on May 3, 1969 in Metamora. She passed away on February 28, 2015. He then married Diann M. Streitmatter on October 10, 2017 in Branson, MO.

Surviving are his wife, Diann of Metamora; children, Janine (Raymond) Merdian of Licking, MO, Michael (Kim) DuBois and Bob (Wendy) DuBois both of Metamora, and Marvin (Kayla) DuBois, Jr. of Bartonville; step-children, Javonne DuBois at home, Mark (Rachel) Elmore of Sauget, IL, and Susan (Jeff) Blaine of Deer Creek, IL; thirteen grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Bernadine (the late Raymon) Streitmatter of Peoria and Richard (Carol) DuBois of Lacon; and sister-in-law, Alice (the late Raymond) DuBois. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Teddy DuBois, one sister, and two brothers.

Marvin was in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Metamora. Marvin was a life-long farmer in Metamora. He worked at Hallmark Metamora Fixture Operation in Metamora, retiring after 30 years of service.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Tim Beddingfield officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19, CDC guidelines will be followed with social distancing and masks required. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora.
