Mark A. Evans, 65, from East Peoria, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 9, 2026, due to a house fire at his home.

He was born on August 18, 1960, in Peoria, the son of Alan and Bobette Evans.

He is survived by his mother from Washington, Illinois, his brother Matthew of Canton, Illinois, and a loving circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins. His father and one son, Mark Evans Jr., preceded him in death.

Cremation rites have been accorded. The family will privately celebrate his life. His remains will be interred at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
