BLOOMINGTON?Marjorie M. Turley, 100, of Bloomington, fomerly of Washington, IL, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Westminster Village, Bloomington where she had resided for the past 10 years. Marjorie was born on December 22, 1913, to Oscar and Lou (Hitch) Voigt in Olney, IL. She married William Turley in 1939 and resided in Washington, IL for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 2001 and also by her parents, a sister, two brothers, and one grandson, Brian Schoonaert. Marjorie is survived by her children, Marcia (James) Schoonaert of Indianapolis, Cynthia (Gary) Reynolds of Mesa, AZ, and Richard (Vickie) Turley of Mackinaw; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Marjorie graduated from the University of Illinois in 1936. She loved the games of golf and bridge, even celebrating her 100th year on the Eureka Golf Course last summer. Memorials can be made to the Westminster Village Foundation, 2025 East Lincoln Street, Bloomington, IL 61701 or a charity of the donor?s choice. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Mason-White Funeral Home, Washington, IL with visitation prior to the service between 2-3 pm. Committal will immediately follow the memorial service at Glendale Cemetery, Washington, IL.
