Marilyn Beth Sights

WASHINGTON...Marilyn B. Sights, 83, of Washington, passed away at 6:06 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Washington Christian Village. Marilyn was born on November 15, 1927 in Hamilton, Missouri to Novi and Myrtle Turnage Couch. She married Edward Sights on September 1, 1946 in Troy, Kansas. Ed died on August 9, 2005 in Peoria. Among those surviving are three sons, Daniel (Paula) Sights of Washington, Timothy Sights of Bradford and Paul (Stephanie) Sights of Aledo, Texas; one brother, Dwayne (Marilyn) Couch of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Arthur Couch. Marilyn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Washington and also had been a member of P.E.O. prior to moving to Washington many years ago. A celebration of Marilyn?s life will be held at Mason-White Funeral Home on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials for Marilyn may be directed to either Washington Christian Village or OSF Hospice.
