Marilyn J. Carlson, 84, of Washington, IL, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing in Eureka, IL. She was born on November 27, 1940, in Peoria, the daughter of Martin and Lillian Paulson Carlson.

Surviving are one sister, Ellen (John) Welk of Addison, IL. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene, and one sister, Evelyn McCormick.

She found great joy in reading magazines, indulging in her favorite television shows, and engaging in lively activities at the supportive living community.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1 pm on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service.
