Marie C. Scheirer

Marie C. Scheirer, 96, of Metamora, IL passed away at 2:40 am on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Snyder Village, Metamora. She was born on January 30, 1919 in Peoria, IL to William and Antoinette (Wolf) Koeppel. She married Vernell G. Scheirer on September 6, 1941 in Peoria. He died on August 29, 1998. Surviving are her two daughters Kathleen (Allen) Rauh of Naples, FL and Rose (Brian) Wolf of Benson, IL; one son Michael (Mary) Scheirer of Metamora, IL; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, one sister, one brother, and one grandson. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Metamora with Father Gregory Josefiak officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 9:00 am until service time. Burial will be held in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Metamora.
