Marian L. Marshall, 91, of Washington, passed away at 6:02 am, Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 28, 1931, in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Richard and Fern Stauter Magee. She married Ronald N. Marshall on August 23, 1952, and he passed away on January 23, 2011. Marian was also preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Teri Lynn and Steve Maxheimer.

Surviving are two daughters, Holly Ann (Mark) Kane of Bartlesville, OK, and Beth Kay (Alan) Stewart of Huntsville, AL; her grandchildren, Mark (Katie) Kane, Peter Kane, Michael (Laura) Maxheimer, Wesley Maxheimer, Thomas Kane, David Maxheimer and Stuart (Megan) Maxheimer; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington. She was a past Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority member at Illinois Wesleyan College in Bloomington. She later attended Eureka College and graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology. She will be remembered for her patience and being a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, August 13, 2022, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington. Pastor Dick Hanson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before her service at the church. The burial of her remains will be at a later date at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
