Marian M. Brown-Trudel

Marian M. Brown-Trudel, 96, of Metamora, formerly of East Peoria, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Snyder Village. She was born on March 25, 1918 in Embarrass, Minnesota to John and Mary (Mattila) Niemela. She married Donald Brown and then later married Patrick Trudel. Both preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is her sister A. Minerva Niemela. Surviving are three sons John (Marge) Brown of Chatsworth, CA, David (Inge) Brown of East Peoria, and Thomas (Linda) Brown of Minneapolis, MN; five grandchildren Jennifer Snyder, Donald Brown, Heidi Mitzelfelt, Eric Brown and Matthew Brown; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister Mildred Wirta. Marian received her Bachelors Degree in Education and was a teacher for many years. She loved gardening and knitting. She was a member of Gloria Day Lutheran Church in Virginia, Minnesota.
