Margaret "Rita" Rosenberg

Margaret "Rita" S. Rosenberg, 102, of Washington, IL, passed away at 1:35 pm Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the Villas of Hollybrook in Washington.

On September 21, 1918, she was born in Peoria, the daughter of Harry and Josephine Striemiller Lewis.  She married William F. Rosenberg on July 17, 1943, in Palmyra, MO, and he passed away on November 16, 1970. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

Surviving are four nephews James Rosenberg, Bill Rosenberg, John Rosenberg, Jerry Rosenberg, and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Carol Oliver, Judy Custer, Transitions Hospice and the entire staff of Holly Brook and independent care givers for the special care and attention given to Rita and her family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington.  Visitation will be one hour prior to her service.
