Margaret E. Pitman

Margaret E. Pitman, 67, of Washington, passed away at 8:50pm, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Unity Point Health Proctor in Peoria.

She was born on November 3, 1950 in Croydon, PA daughter of David and Wilma Merkle Pitman.

Surviving are three sisters Joan (Terry) Earl of Taveres, FL; Dorothy (Dick) Jarvis Leesbrug, FL and Bobbi (Art) Hunziker of Eureka, IL. Also surviving are 6 nieces and nephews. Her parents, one great nephew Zackary Gorrell preceded her in death.

Margaret was a U.S. Army Veteran being honorably discharged. She was a Registered Nurse working at the University of Chicago.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00am Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Visitation will be one-hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka. To share memories and condolences, visit www.masonfuneralhomes.com
