Margaret G. Parish

Margaret G. Parish, 83, of Washington passed away at 3:06pm, Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at her residence.

She was born on January 11, 1934, in White Hall, AR, daughter of Ottie and Evelyn (Clampit) Stark. She married John W. Parish on March 17, 1952 in Meridian, MS. He passed away on August 23, 2005. She was also preceded in death by one sister Rowena Catlett Jennings and two brothers Doyle and Carlos Stark

Surviving are one son John L. Parish of Washington, IL. two daughters Rita Holmes of Morton, IL and Sherry Hexamer of Washington, IL. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren along with one brother Darrel (Carol) Stark of Moline, IL. three sisters Ann (Darrel) Pettis of Eau Claire, WI., Patricia (Ralph) Jefford of Diamond City, AR., and Phyllis (Bill) Edwards of Dallas, TX.

She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling in her motor home in addition to camping and fishing with family. She was owner and operator along with her husband of Parish's Pub in Washington for many years.
