Marcella A. Erlacher

Marcella A. Erlacher, 91, of Washington, Illinois passed away at 12:15 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2015 at Morton Terrace Nursing Home in Morton, Illinois. She was born on January 17, 1924 in North Liberty, Iowa to Charley and Leona (Riddle) Chehak. Marcella married Bernard E. Erlacher on March 8, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. He passed away on August 8, 2009 in Peoria. Among those surviving are two sons, Ron Erlacher of Washington and Daniel Erlacher of Coeur 'd Alene, Idaho and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Marcella had been a member of the Washington Women's Club for many years and enjoyed morning coffee with her friends at the old Washington Family Restaurant. Visitation will be on Friday at Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a graveside service on Saturday at Ridgewood Cemetery in North Liberty, Iowa. Assisting the family in Illinois is Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington.
