Marcella I. Bastian

Marcella I. Bastian, 94, of Metamora, IL passed away at 4:32 pm on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Advocate Eureka Hospital, Eureka, IL. She was born on October 25, 1923 in Worth Township, IL to Peter and Elizabeth (Roth) Dubois. She married Walter J. Bastian on September 30, 1950 in Calumet City, IL. He passed away on March 11, 1998. Surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marcella enjoyed gardening and her fruit trees and was also an avid quilter. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Metamora.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Greg Jozefiak officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora.
