M. Virginia Hybarger

M. Virginia Hybarger, 88 of Germantown Hills, Illinois died Monday June 17, 2013 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Born December 25, 1924 in Egan, Tennessee to Virgil and Josephine (Smitty) Ridings. She married Dorsey Giles on July 26, 1951. She later married Don Hybarger on June 22, 1974 in Peoria. He preceded her in death July 17, 1995. Surviving are one son Gene (Laura) Giles of Germantown Hill; two grandchildren, Katie (Wes) Rohman and Andy Giles both of Germantown Hills; two brothers, Carl (Jeannie) Ridings of Germantown Hills and Bob (Helen) Ridings of Taylorville; two sisters, Wanda (Richard) Edwards off Washington and Cinda (Chuck) Harris of E. Peoria. She was preceded in death by siblings, Jay Ridings and Deloras Taylor. She worked as a nurse at OSF Medical Center, McBride and Schoff, Arts Tamales, and the Motherhouse in Germantown Hills. She was a member of BayView Baptist Church in Washington where she sang in the choir. Funeral Services will be at 11:00am Thursday June 20, 2013 at BayView Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Thibo officiating. Visitation will from 5pm until 7pm Wednesday June 19, 2013 at BayView Baptist Church and also one hour prior to services at church. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery.
