Lynn F. Zook

Lynn F. Zook, 71, of Metamora, IL passed away at 1:58 am on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.  He was born on July 8, 1947 in Washington, IL to Norman F. and Elinor L. (Whetzal) Zook.  He married Nancy C. Capshaw on August 27, 1977 in Peoria, IL.

Surviving are his wife Nancy of Metamora; son Brett Zook of Peoria; brother Kevin Zook of Washburn; brothers-in-law Clarence "Buddy" Capshaw of Bartonville and Thomas Clark of Metamora; and sister-in-law Jackie Young of Peoria.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Mary Ann Clark.

Lynn was a sales representative in manufacturing.  He had always worked in sales, last working for County Line Tool in East Peoria.  He enjoyed baseball and was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan along with being a big dog lover.  He also enjoyed farming and working in the garden and around their home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington with Reverend Jason Woolever officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.  Burial will be in Linn-Mt.
