Lou Boles passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. Lou was born in Ramsey, Illinois, to Matthew and Lottie Meyerholz Trueblood.

She longed to be reunited with her beloved husband, Ben Boles, who preceded her in death in December 2025.

Lou is survived by her sons, Jerry (Debby) Boles and Michael (Sheila) Boles; her daughter Amy (Craig) Cranford; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Her brothers, Raymond (Esther) Trueblood, Bill (Sue) Trueblood, a sister, Shirley (Alvin) Kempton, and sister-in-law, Gloria Trueblood, also survive. She was preceded in death by brothers Charlie Trueblood, Gary Trueblood, and sisters Wanda Selby, Elaine Gebbink, and Carroll Phillips.

We find comfort in knowing that she is safely in the arms of Jesus. The family will come together privately to celebrate her life and cherish her memory.
