Loretta G. Heck, 87, of LowPoint, IL passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 7:43 am at the OSF Richard Owens Hospice, Peoria. She was born on June 20, 1927 at her home in East Peoria, IL to John E. and Emma (Nelson) Call. She married Donald L. Heck on June 20, 1944 in Eureka, IL. They had been married for 70 years. He survives. Also surviving are children Donna J. Holocker and Dennis (Peggy) Heck both of LowPoint; grandchildren Donald (Colette) Holocker of Lacon, Scott Holocker and Lori (Rodney) Fandel both of LowPoint and Tami (Paul) McCaw of Peoria Heights; great-grandchildren Sarah Holocker, Rose Holocker, James Holocker, Edward Holocker, Drake Fandel, and Hunter McCaw; one great-great-granddaughter Addalyn Crow; and sisters-in-law Lillian Call, Gladys Call and Vera Call. She was preceded in death by son-in-law Gilbert Holocker, great-grandson Brant McCaw, eight brothers, and four sisters. Loretta was a homemaker and also worked at Fandels Hardware. She enjoyed bowling and country music. She played softball at Midway Duck Inn. She loved baseball and was a Cubs fan. She enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends. She was proud of being the baby of 13 children. She attended Oak Grove Brethern Church of Bricktown, IL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Robert DeBolt officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm and one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Alzheimers Association Central Illinois Chapter. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
