Lois K. Sampson

Lois K. Sampson, 95, of Peoria, formerly of Washington, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at John C. Proctor Endowment Home in Peoria.

She was born on August 17, 1923 in Evanston, IL the daughter of Russell and Josephine Gage Sampson. Surviving Lois are many close friends.

Lois was a teacher for District 150 in Peoria where she taught art and art history for 29 years retiring in 1983.  She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington.

Graveside services will be held 10:00am Friday, October 19, 2018 at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.  Pastor Dan Doty will officiate.  Memorials in her name may be given to Washington Fire Department.  To share a memory of Lois, visit www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
