Lois Marie Rigg

Lois Marie Rigg, 87, of Washington, IL passed away at 9:25 am on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Unity Point Health-Proctor in Peoria.  She was born on July 18, 1931 in Marshfield, MO to Harry and Eva Jane (Robinson) Lane.  She married Arthur R. Rigg on March 19, 1948 in Marshfield, MO.  He passed away on December 30, 2006.

Surviving are two daughters Jolene (Ron) Fasanello of Middlesex, New Jersey and Jerrie (Josh) Sosa of East Peoria; one son Steve (Judy) Rigg of Susanville, CA; grandchildren Greg (Lisa) Fasanello, Rick (Lori) Ivins, Jenise (David) Rodgers, and Bill, Oscar, Walter, and Vinnie Rigg; great-grandchildren Samantha, Gregory, Jr., and Alissa Fasanello, Justin, Collin, and Ben Rodgers, Ryland and Landon Ivins, and Brandon (Kayla) Hirth; great-great-grandchildren Austin and her greatest love Shay; and lots of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by son Walter "Don" Rigg, granddaughter Valerie Jean Fasanello, great-great-granddaughter Camila Louise, and two sisters.

Lois attended Bethany Community Church in Washington.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, making candy, and in her later years she loved to read.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Pastor Kent Kloter officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of her service on Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery in Metamora.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61637 in memory of her great-great-granddaughter Mila.  Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
