WASHINGTON?Elise N. "Lisa" Brown, 54, of Washington, passed away at 3:42 p.m., Sunday, February 15, 2015 at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Lisa was born on August 18, 1960 in Peoria to Deidrick and Agnes (Gramlich) Rambke. Among those surviving are her two sons that were her pride and joy, Jason Barton and Austin "Chuck" Brown, both of Washington; two brothers, David (Christine) Rambke of Naperville and Robert Rambke of Groveland and two sisters, Mary (Michael) Hanelt of Hanna City and Laura (Wes) Kanaga of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and Daniel. Lisa grew up in West Peoria and attended St. Mark?s Grade School and was a graduate from Academy of Our Lady/Spaulding Institute. She was employed at Methodist Medical Center for 26 years and for Phillips Clinical Engineering team for the past eight years, last working February 5, 2015. Lisa loved her family and was a devoted mother to her two sons. She loved to travel and the highlight for her was last November for a family reunion and trip to Florida. She had a zest for life and knew no stranger. Lisa also enjoyed music, yard work and gardening as well as exploring and experiencing different cities and places on her travels. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Veeter and his staff for their care and compassion during her 16 year journey. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials to Illinois Cancer Care in Peoria.
