Linda (Casper) Woolard, 73, of Washington, IL, passed away in her home on Friday, September 22, 2023, surrounded by family members. She was born on July 24, 1950, to Elsa (Hasty) and LaVerne Casper.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her infant son Joshua, granddaughter Destiny, four brothers, Steve, Chuck, Roger, and Gary, and two sisters, Joan and Elaine.
She is survived by sister Sherry Blakey of Louisville, Kentucky; Triplet brothers Timothy Casper of Louisville, Kentucky, Jeffrey Casper of Alabama, and Gerald Casper of Washington, Illinois; Daughters Rebecca (Howard) Lee of East Peoria, Rhonda Bolen of East Peoria, Tamara (William) Mitchell of East Peoria, Amy Cassidy of East Peoria, Angela Ayers of East Peoria, and Talitha Arzate of Creve Coeur. She was also survived by 19 grandchildren, 30 great grand grandchildren, and many, many others who called her "Granny", along with a plethora of nieces and nephews, three of whom were like her own kids, Ronald (Donna) Casper of Washington, John Allen of Ormond Beach Florida, and Tracy (Shane) Delp of Ormond Beach Florida.
Linda, also referred to as "Linda Lou" or "The Old Bitch" by those who knew and loved her, was not a soft-spoken woman. She was spunky and sassy and was not afraid to express her thoughts. She loved all her many friends and cherished the times she could hang out with them.
Linda was a bartender for about ten years at the Catta Club in East Peoria, where she became friends with many people who still love her. She then worked at the East Peoria Walmart for 18 years, where she found her work family. She enjoyed going to breakfast and lunch with her friends and thrift store shopping with her daughters and grandkids. She always had a purse full of dum-dum "granny" suckers for her beloved great-grandchildren. She will be very missed by all who knew and loved her.
