Linda Ann Mcintosh

WASHINGTON...Linda A. McIntosh, 50, of Washington, passed away at 10:58 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Linda was born on October 2, 1961 in Peoria to William and Norma Lehman Sleeth. She married Terry McIntosh in Peoria on June 29, 1985. Terry survives. Also surviving are her parents, Bill and Norma Sleeth of Peoria; her five loving children, Nathan (at home), Dylan (of Springfield), Derek (of Lincoln), Cassidy and Madison (both at home); two brothers, Bill (Barb) Sleeth of Marquette Heights and Rod (Janet) Sleeth of Peoria; two sisters Keri (Kathy Balek) Sleeth of Schaumburg and Sherri (Joel) Urich of Elk Grove Village, two nephews, Darin (Kim) Stewart and Jonathan McIntosh; her parents-in-law, Don and Shirley McIntosh of San Jose in addition to the many friends that she made over the years. She was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Sleeth. Linda had worked as an agent for Alexander Murray Insurance in Washington for the past seven years. She was a three time cancer survivor. Linda was an all time beach lover going to various beaches at every opportunity, especially on Gulf. Now she will always be on her beach in paradise. Linda was a huge supporter of her children?s various sport and dance activities and then taking every opportunity to creatively embarrass each of them whenever possible. She will always be remembered as the loving mother, wife, daughter and friend that she was. A celebration of Linda?s life will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Mason-White Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Brach officiating. Visitation for Linda will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the celebration. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
