Linda L. Lee, 72, of Washington passed away peacefully in the arms of her Lord and Savior at 4:01 pm on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Unity Point Health-Methodist in Peoria surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 13, 1944 in Hannibal, MO the daughter of the late William and Lois (Every) Curless. She married Robert F. Lee on April 3, 1965 in Washington, IL. Surviving are her husband; one son Brian (Lisa) Lee; and one daughter Brenda Little all of Washington. Also surviving are three grandchildren Kyle Little, Megan Little and Brent Lee and three step-grandchildren Zachary Riggs, Mackenzie Riggs and Alexandra Riggs. Further surviving is one brother Larry (Pat) Curless of Pekin. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington where she served as a deacon as well as an active member of the church Altar Guild. Linda was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a member of the Red Hat Society currently serving as queen for Ruby Chapeau and a member of the Washington Garden Club as well as the Washington Historical Society. She enjoyed many activities including the B & L Garden Railroad, scrapbooking, sewing, decorating, shopping and genealogy as well as her bible studies. Linda was an avid Elvis Presley fan collecting much of his memorabilia. Her greatest enjoyment was her children, grandchildren and her family and friends. One of her best qualities was how she loved everyone. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington with Pastor John Bates and Pastor Youngshim Pitcher officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Further visitation will be one hour prior to her service at the church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name may be given to her church or the American Cancer Society.
