Linda C. Kamm

WASHINGTON-Linda C. Kamm, 69, of Washington passed away at 4:52am Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Unity Point Health Methodist-Peoria with family by her side. She was born on February 20, 1947 in Athens, AL the daughter of Grady and Almarie Peek Moss. Surviving is one son Mike (Julie) Kamm of Washington three granddaughters Isabella, Carly and Olivia. Also surviving are two sisters Deb Royston and Doris Bailey both of Athens, AL. Further surviving is an aunt, Nora Madry, who was very special to her heart along with other various aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her parents, one brother, Danny and one sister Diane preceded her in death. She worked for Methodist Medical Center for 39 years retiring as a unit secretary in 2010. Linda was a very family oriented woman, she loved being with her family and one of her favorite things would be to visit her grandchildren. Linda will be most remembered as a kind and compassionate caregiver to all that knew her and will be greatly missed. A funeral service is scheduled for 11am Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Doug Hafley officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30am until her time of service. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
