Linda M. Dubois

Linda M. DuBois, 67, of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 3:40 pm on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She was born on February 27, 1948 in Spring Valley, Illinois to Francis and Lelah (Gillespie) Doll. She married Marvin E. DuBois on May 3, 1969 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Metamora and he survives. Surviving are her children Janine (Raymond) Merdian of Lacon, Michael (Kim) DuBois and Bob (Wendy) DuBois both of Metamora, and Marvin (Kayla) DuBois, Jr. of Dunlap; fifteen grandchildren; and one brother Steve Doll of Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Alan Doll. Linda worked in nursing for OSF St. Francis and Snyder Village in Metamora. She also worked for the A&W Restaurant and Dairy Queen in Metamora. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Metamora and the Altar & Rosary Society. She loved being with her family and grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday March 4, 2015 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Metamora with Father Greg Jozefiak officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery in Metamora. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary?s School.
