Lillie G. Wall

Lillie G. "Dottie" Wall, age 85, of Germantown Hills, Illinois passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 4:51 pm at Maple Lawn Health Care, Eureka, Illinois. She was born on July 19, 1928 in Pocahontas, Illinois to Art and Zillah (Redding) Cruthis. She married Urban V. Wall on March 26, 1948 in Peoria, Illinois. He died on February 19, 1973. Surviving are three children, Peggy (Tom) Gillhouse of Mackinaw, Patricia (David) Staab of Germantown Hills, and Jack (Teresa) Wall of Troy, MO; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Gloria Justice of East Peoria; three brothers, Willard Cruthis of New Douglas, IL, Jack (Peggy) Cruthis of Sorento, IL, and Dean (Bobbie) Cruthis of Highland, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers. Dottie worked in the cafeteria at Caterpillar and at Sears Service Center, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Christ Church, Germantown Hills. She was a member of the Chatter Box Sewing Club for over 50 years. She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 6:30 pm at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Reverend Charles Buegel officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until service time Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Christ Church, Germantown Hills.
