Lillian C. Grebner, 100, formerly of Metamora, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Cedarhurst of Washington.

She was born on October 7, 1922 to Albert and Mary (Kiesewetter) Adams. She married Arnold Grebner on October 14, 1950 at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church. He passed away on September 26, 2013.

Lillian is survived by her three daughters, Donna (Steve) Deatherage of East Peoria, IL, Joan Curry of Pontiac, IL, and Tina (Matt) Mueller of Springfield, IL; six grandchildren, Jenelle (Paul) Wambold, Julie (Marshall) Henry, Jessica (Brett) Martin, Nick (Ali) Curry, Joelle (Darvell) Curry, and Edward Mueller; eleven great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Carl (Mary) Adams, Raymond (Marilyn) Adams, and William (Dorothy) Adams. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Amelia Noe and Esther Schaidle and two brothers, Joseph and Norbert Adams.

Lillian was a homemaker who had a servant's heart. As a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Metamora for 73 years, she was active in their Altar and Rosary Society and St. Mary's School. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader.

Spending time with her family was the focus of Lillian's life. She enjoyed family card games, gardening, and sharing her wonderful pies and cookies. She was a talented quilter. Her family and friends treasure her handmade gifts of love.

Lillian's family would like to thank all of those who helped care for their beloved Mom.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 6, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until time of her service, also on Friday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora.
