Leroy R. Haedicke

Leroy R. Haedicke age 79 of E. Peoria, Illinois passed away at 2:25pm Thursday March 1, 2012 at Proctor Hospital. He was born at home on Oct. 29, 1932 in E. Peoria to Arthur and Theresa (Koopman) Haedicke. He married Nancy Decker on Feb. 7, 1953 in Peoria, IL., and she survives. Surviving are his children Robert (Mary) Haedicke and Lucy Haedicke both of E. Peoria, 5 grandaughters and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers Arthur (Jean) Haedicke and Gerald (Hildegard) Haedicke both of E. Peoria and a sister Alice (Earl) Johnston of E. Peoria. He was preceded in death by 1 sister and 1 brother. Leroy was a lifelong farmer and building contractor and was of the Lutheran Faith. Visitation will be Monday March 5, 2012 from 9am until 10am at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. A Private family graveside service will follow at 10:30am at Haedicke Family Cemetery in E. Peoria with Rev. Gary Salm officiating.
