Leona E. Mcclary

Leona E. McClary, 100, of Metamora, IL passed away at 4:18 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Snyder Village in Metamora. She was born on August 23, 1917 in Lacon, IL to George and Marie (Tidmarsh) McCully. She married William E. McClary on June 30, 1937 in Lacon. He passed away on March 14, 1998.

Surviving are her two sons Roger (Patricia) McClary of Washburn, IL and Ronald "Pete" (Carol) McClary of Lacon, IL; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son and daughter-in-law Richard (Judy) McClary, and two sisters.

Leona was a self-employed beautician in Metamora for 50 years. She loved shopping and her grandchildren. She was a member of Christian Union Church in Metamora.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Pastor Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lacon City Cemetery.
