Lee Ann (Lewis) Morgan

Lee Ann Morgan, 97, of Eureka, IL, formerly of Cazenovia, IL, passed away at 6:50 am on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at her daughter Phyllis' home.

She was born on April 28, 1927, in Park Hill, OK, to Hershall O. and Bessie (Bosswell) Lewis. She married Fred E. Morgan on April 11, 1946 in West Plains, MO. He passed away on October 7, 2007.

Surviving are her children, Cleo (Donna) Morgan of Eureka, IL, Freddie (Lloyd) Hockenbury of rural Washburn, IL, Phyllis Fosdyck of Eureka, IL, Cally (Diane) Morgan of Peoria, IL, and Wilma (John) Elser of Peoria Heights, IL; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jessie Longcrier of Missouri, Bill Lewis of Carson, IA, Dolly Veatch of East Peoria, IL, and Betty Taylor of Diamond, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.

Ann was a self-employed seamstress. She attended Oak Grove Church of the Brethen in Lowpoint, IL. Ann was a wonderful quilter, loved to sew, and enjoyed gardening.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will be in Linn-Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Washburn, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
